Unique and Elegant Design Inspired by Ottoman Culture

The Sultan ceramic wall tiles stand out from others in their category due to their unique properties and design. Produced using digital printing technology, these tiles feature a three-dimensional design with a mould effect, creating a texture that resembles large-sized pearls and textile. The uniformity of the design gives a sense of luxury and opulence, reminiscent of the grandeur of the Ottoman Empire.

The realization of the Sultan ceramic wall tiles involves the use of digital printing technology and third firing technology. These tiles are applied to walls and floors, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to any space. With dimensions of 600mm x 300mm, each package contains 6 pieces, covering 1 sqm and weighing 23 kg.

The design team, consisting of Tolga Berkay and the Bien Seramik Design Team, worked closely with relevant departments throughout the design stage to ensure the future production steps and assembly components were carefully considered. This collaboration resulted in a seamless integration of design and functionality.

The Sultan ceramic wall tiles were created in Bilecik, Turkey, with the project starting in April 2014 and finishing in October 2014. The design team drew inspiration from the sumptuous costumes of the Sultans and the Ottoman palace, meticulously studying the shape and surface area to achieve the silk-like textile effect.

The Bien Sultan Series, to which the Sultan ceramic wall tiles belong, was designed to reflect both water and historical texture. The intricate patterns and brilliant color transitions give the tiles an engraved-by-hand appearance, adding to their allure. The use of digital printing technology ensures the accuracy and precision of the design.

The Sultan ceramic wall tiles have garnered recognition in the design world, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in the Building Materials and Construction Components Design category in 2016. This prestigious award is given to designs that are well-designed, practical, and innovative, meeting professional and industrial requirements. The Sultan tiles are respected for their integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and their contribution to a better world.
